Engineering Science and Military Technologies is an international journal founded in 2017 by Military Technical College, Cairo, Egypt. The publication in the journal is free of charge and No hidden fees. It operates an online submission and peer review system allowing authors to submit articles online and track their progress via its website. It publishes original high-quality research papers within the various fields of Defense Engineering Systems. 

In addition to original articles, ESMT publishes reviews, mini-reviews, case reports, and letters to the Editor. The Journal is committed to publishing manuscripts via a rapid, impartial, and rigorous review process. All submitted papers are subjected to strict double-blind peer review by its experienced international Advisory Board members and additional anonymous international and national reviewers. 

Screening verifies that submitted manuscripts have not been published previously in any copyright form (print or electronic/online). 

The COVID-19 pandemic impacts us all, and we are offering all possible support to our authors, reviewers, and readers. While at present there has been no major impact to our services, we ask for your understanding that this unprecedented situation might lead to some delays in the peer-review process. As a result, to keep a good rejection rate and introduce good quality manuscripts, the Journal was a quarterly published journal but since mid-2019 it has been published twice a year (March, September). 

All accepted manuscripts are granted free online open-access immediately upon publication, which permits its users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts, thus facilitating access to a broad readership."
